Our Story
Northern Tree Experts started with a simple frustration: too many tree companies push their crews to do more in less time. Cuts get rushed. Drop zones get sloppy. Equipment gets used in ways it shouldn't be. The result is damaged property — or worse, injured people.
Vinny started this company on a different premise. Safety based, not production based. That's not a marketing line — it's how we plan every job, brief every crew, and price every estimate. We'd rather lose the lowball bid and keep the standard.
What We Do
We're a full-service tree care company. Tree removal — including hazardous and tight-clearance work. Trimming and pruning. Emergency response when storms come through. Stump grinding to finish the job. Land clearing for new builds and reclaim projects. And ongoing tree and plant health care for landscape investments worth preserving.
Where We Work
We're based at 228 Ten Eyck Street in Watertown and serve the surrounding North Country: Black River, Carthage, Adams, Clayton, and out into rural Jefferson and Lewis Counties. If you're inside that perimeter, we'll come out for a free estimate.
The Crew
Vinny owns the company and runs the crew. Matt works alongside him on every job. We bring in additional climbers and ground crew as work requires, but the leadership and the standards stay constant.
Insurance & Standards
We carry full liability and workers' compensation coverage. Documentation available on request. We follow ANSI A300 pruning standards and OSHA safety practices for all rigging, climbing, and ground operations.
